*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 08/19/2023
Take part in the centennial celebration of the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb with legendary archaeologist Dr. Zahi Hawass. This exclusive presentation will begin with a film about Dr. Hawass’ historic uncovering of the lost golden city near Luxor, considered to be the most important discovery of 2022, which led to the secrets of King Tut's final days and Egypt's Golden Age. Dr. Hawass will also discuss his newest discoveries in the Valley of the Kings. This event is part of the Archaeology of the Biblical Lands Distinguished Lecture Series, which is made possible through a generous bequest by Norma Kershaw (1924-2020). This lecture is held with additional support from AIA, the Archaeological Institute of America.
