Open House | Garden Tour | Community Mending
Friday, July 7 from 4 - 7pm
Drop by San Diego Craft Collective on July's First Friday for a fun DIY, sustainable crafting experience.
The theme for July is BUTTONS & since we're all about sustainable living and crafting at the Craft Collective, this month we'll explore how to sew on a button! There are a variety of ways to sew on a button, so grab an item from home that needs fixing and pop in July 7th for some mending magic. It's time to re-style, re-dazzle, &/or mend those buttoned clothes that need some simple, hands-on love. And, we'll have plenty of fabric, needles and buttons on-hand in case you'd prefer to come learn and practice on ours instead. Free to the public and open to all ages!
If you have kids in tow that day, be sure to save a spot for our free Kids Craft -- Button Art from 5 - 6pm. Kids will use their imaginations and create with paper, yarn, glue and buttons! Each month the children's craft changes, so pop in while you're visiting and get crafty!
