Gustav Mahler: Symphony no. 9 - California Young Artists Symphony
Experience a heartfelt presentation of some of the most expressive music in all of music literature, Mahler’s 9th Symphony.
Written at the turn of the 20th century, this profound work was Gustav Mahler’s final symphony and was thought by Leonard Bernstein to be “Mahler’s conscious farewell to the world.” The performance is led by Maestro David Chan hailing from the New York Met Opera, Juilliard School, and Manhattan School of Music. Maestro Chan's presence on the stage has been lauded as “polished and sublime.”
